Grief Group

You don't have to walk alone

Are you grieving the death of someone close to you? Northside Episcopal Church invites you to our new grief support group.

We'll meet on zoom, Saturday mornings from April 13 to May 25, 2024, 9:30 to 10:30 am.

This virtual gathering is designed to provide a safe and spiritual place for individuals aged 14 and older who are navigating the loss of a loved one.
The gatherings are inspired by the community cafe model, where people support one another and are safe to be real.

  • When: 7 consecutive Saturdays starting April 13, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Central Time. We'll host the final gathering May 25.
  • What: A space for finding spiritual support, expressing feelings, and learning collectively how to cope with grief.
  • Where: Join us via Zoom at this link.
  • Who: Open to anyone aged 14 or older grieving the death of someone close.
  • Why: Grieving is a process that needs time, care, and a compassionate community.
It's often difficult to find the right moments and places to mourn—this series offers a time to find solace together.

Participation Details:

  • This group meets in a 'drop-in' style, meaning you can attend as many sessions as you need—whether that's one, several, or all seven.
  • Attendance is free of charge, and no prior registration is required.
