We proudly participated in The Metropolitan Organization’s (TMO) leadership retreat on February 11, 2024 to learn about the importance of building relationships and understanding how to gain power by entering more deeply into the community.
Also in February, TMO called on Gov. Abbott to grant a motion to overturn Standard Air Quality Permit 173296 allowing a concrete and rock crusher to be build right accros the street from LBJ Hospital; a public hospital, a level three trauma and emergency center, and one of the busiest hospitals in the state.
More contaminants in this neighborhood is not what we need.
